Installation Instructions

Windows

  1. Download the .exe installer
  2. If SmartScreen appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway"
  3. Follow the setup wizard
  4. DracoCam starts automatically after install

macOS

  1. Download the .dmg file
  2. Open it and drag DracoCam to Applications
  3. On first launch: right-click the app, select "Open", then click "Open" in the dialog
  4. Grant camera permissions when prompted

Linux

  1. Download .deb (Ubuntu/Debian) or .rpm (Fedora/RHEL)
  2. Install: sudo dpkg -i dracocam_*.deb or sudo rpm -i dracocam-*.rpm
  3. Start: sudo systemctl start dracocam
  4. The agent starts automatically on boot

  • 4GB RAM
  • 50GB available (10GB app + recordings)
  • 10-15 Mbps internet (5-8 Mbps per HD camera)

  • Quad-core CPU (Intel i5 7th gen / AMD Ryzen 5 / Apple M1)
  • 8GB RAM (for 3-5 cameras)
  • 200GB+ SSD for faster recording storage
  • 40-50 Mbps internet (8-10 Mbps per HD camera)
  • Hardware encoding (Intel Quick Sync / AMD VCE / Apple VideoToolbox)
