What plans does DracoCam offer?

DracoCam offers three subscription plans:

  • Basic ($2.50/month): 1 camera, 20GB storage
  • Plus ($5.00/month): 2 cameras, 60GB storage, email support
  • Pro ($12.50/month): 5 cameras, 120GB storage, priority support

Can I add more cameras to my plan?

Yes! You can add additional cameras to any plan:

  • Basic plan: $2.50 per additional camera/month
  • Plus plan: $3.00 per additional camera/month
  • Pro plan: $3.50 per additional camera/month

Is there a free trial?

We don't currently offer a free trial. However, we provide a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers, so you can try DracoCam risk-free.

Are there any setup or hidden fees?

No! The monthly subscription price is all you pay. There are no setup fees, activation fees, or hidden charges. Additional camera pricing varies by plan (Basic: $2.50, Plus: $3.00, Pro: $3.50 per camera/month).

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • International cards with 3D Secure

When will I be charged?

Your subscription is billed monthly on the same date you originally subscribed. For example, if you subscribe on the 15th, you'll be charged on the 15th of each month.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely! We use Stripe for payment processing, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified (the highest level of certification). We never store your credit card information on our servers. All payment data is encrypted and handled directly by Stripe.

Can I update my payment method?

Yes! You can update your payment method anytime from your dashboard. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Method to add or update your card information.

🔄 Plan Changes

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes! You can change your plan at any time from your dashboard:

  • Upgrades: Take effect immediately. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle
  • Downgrades: Scheduled for your next billing cycle. You keep your current plan benefits until renewal

Note: Downgrades don't provide prorated credits. You'll enjoy your current plan until the end of your billing period, then automatically switch to the lower plan.

What happens to my recordings if I downgrade?

Important: When your downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle:

  • Storage Limit: If your recordings exceed your new plan's storage limit, older videos will be automatically deleted to fit within the new limit
    • Basic: 20GB storage
    • Plus: 60GB storage
    • Pro: 120GB storage
  • Camera Limits: Cameras beyond your new plan's limit are deactivated, but their recordings are preserved
  • Grace Period: You keep your current plan benefits until the next billing date
  • Warning: You'll see a preview of what will be deleted before confirming the downgrade
  • Deletion Date: Videos are deleted when the downgrade takes effect on your renewal date

Note: Since downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle, you have time to download important recordings before the change occurs. The deletion process is automatic and cannot be undone once it happens.

Can I pause my subscription?

We don't currently offer subscription pausing. However, you can cancel anytime and resubscribe when you're ready to use DracoCam again. See "What happens to my recordings when I cancel?" below for details on our 30-day grace period.

What happens to my recordings when I cancel?

30-Day Grace Period: After your subscription ends, we provide a 30-day grace period during which all your recordings are preserved. This gives you time to:

  • Download any important recordings
  • Reconsider and resubscribe without losing data
  • Transfer your footage if needed

Email Reminders: We'll send you reminders at:

  • Day 7: First reminder (23 days remaining)
  • Day 15: Halfway reminder (15 days remaining)
  • Day 29: Final warning (1 day remaining)

Important: After 30 days, all recordings are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. We encourage you to resubscribe within the grace period to keep your valuable security footage.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime from your dashboard:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Confirm your cancellation

You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

What happens when I cancel?

When you cancel:

  • You keep full access until the end of your current billing period
  • No future charges will occur
  • After your billing period ends, a 30-day grace period begins
  • During the grace period, all your recordings are preserved
  • We'll send you email reminders at days 7, 15, and 29
  • After 30 days, all recordings are permanently deleted
  • You can resubscribe anytime within the grace period to keep your data

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. If you're not satisfied within your first 7 days, contact support for a full refund. After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable but you can cancel anytime to avoid future charges.

How do I view my billing history?

You can view all your invoices and payment history in your dashboard under Settings → Billing → Billing History. You can also download invoices for your records.

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

We currently offer monthly billing only. This gives you maximum flexibility to change or cancel your plan as your needs change.

Can I get a receipt for my payments?

Yes! Receipts are automatically emailed after each payment. You can also download receipts and invoices from your billing dashboard anytime.

What happens if my payment fails?

If a payment fails, we'll retry a few times over the next few days and send you email notifications. Your service continues during this grace period. If payment ultimately fails, your subscription will be suspended (but your data is preserved for 30 days).
